Scenic Art Course
Scenic Art Services and Spur Creative Workshop are running a one week course introducing students of all skill levels to scenic practices
Both established companies, scenic art services and spur creative workshop, are able to pass on their experience to students in a working commercial environment covering all aspects of the creative industries.
Course outline.
The week will cover:
-An introduction to scenic paints; tools and materials.
-Faux effects, woodgrainning, marbling, distressing and ageing.
Spray gun set up and paint spraying techniques;
-Polystyrene carving and fibreglassing
-Drawing up to scale and gridding artwork
-Signwriting and the drawing/spacing of lettering.
